We finally were placed in a bathroom and could relax for a minute. It was very apparent you were on your own and he wasn't going to wait on or help anyone get to safety. He quickly ran ahead so it was up to each person to try to keep up and not get hit with a flying trashcan or pole. He then led us all away from the building and back across the open entrance area while we all dodged blowing debris, trashcans & poles. After a few minutes the guy reappeared & yelled at us to follow him. We started getting a little more scared seeing all the poles and trashcans being blown around. Meanwhile the wind and rain was coming so fast & hard. He yelled at us to wait until he figured out where to take us. I yelled out, we Ubered here and don't have a car to go to. The lady responded very loudly through the glass door "NO!" Soon after that a male employee walked up and said we were blocking the door and it was a fire hazard and that we all needed to get to our cars. I asked the others to knock on the glass and ask if we could just stand in side the office until the worst of it passed. A female employee opened the glass door enough to let someone in (probably another employee). We were at the entrance to the Live Nation Admin Office. Pretty scary & some people were screaming. We tried to take cover but the rain and wind was so heavy we all became drenched like we had stood in a shower. We started running toward the building while dodging trash cans and poles to a group of about 25 people huddled together underneath an overhang. As soon as he spoke the wind began to hurl trashcans and poles all over the area where we were standing. All the sudden an employee ran from behind the locked gate & yelled at everyone to go to their car immediately. No Jiffy Lube Live employee in sight to help or ask where we could go. Everyone in line started getting concerned and trying to figure out what to do. Stood in line for an hour then noticed dark skies heading toward us. Bought the Fast Lane passes to skip the long lines. Uber driver picked us up at the hotel (La Quinta Inn in Manassas) at 4:00pm and we got to Jiffy Lube at 4:12. We drove from MD and got a hotel for the night. My daughter & I had tickets to the JBackstreet Boys Concert.
